My name is Annabella Dean, I’d like to welcome you to my blog where you’ll find lots of great information and resources on travelling around New Zealand.
Please take your time to navigate your way around my blog and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask… I’m here to help.
My Backstory
My passion for photography has grown over the years since leaving high school and completing a Bachelor of Photography at the age of 21.
Since then I have continued my studies working in the professional photographic industry, fine tuning my skills as a photographer and technician in both the traditional and digital fields. Whilst working in high-end photographic labs, I had the opportunity to process and print the artwork of acclaimed photographers.
Over the years, I’ve owned a variety of interesting cameras ranging from digital SLR’s through to traditional (film) small, medium and large format. The most important lesson I’ve learned during this time is it doesn’t matter what camera you own, but more importantly how you use it to capture the imaginations of others.

Like most photographers, travelling inspires and influences my photography. Despite my experience in the photographic industry, I’m constantly working on improving my skills which is why I created Shutter Buggs where I share photography tutorials and resources.
I hope that you find my insights into travelling around New Zealand not only informative but inspiring.
